Hybrid material - glass and carbon fibre recovered using supercritical fluids and added to concrete mix
- The aim is to get an improved adhesion between the fibres and the concrete mix.
Glass and carbon fibre are recovered using supercritical fluids and mixed with micro-silica while the resin is still liquid. The aim is to have an increased adhesion between the fibres and concrete.
Composite pieces used for this case study are 20x20x0,9 mm in order to get fibres of 20mm long after the supercritical fluids process.
